That new "The Mist" movie

It's based on one of my fav Stephen King short stories. Anybody know anything about the director? Will it be shit?

same chap who did the green mile, shawshank redemption and a bunch of other stephen king stuff. there's a pre 'making of' thing kicking around on sky movies that made it look like it could be cool.

Great short story.. hope it's a good movie. The bulk of the preview looked pretty good, but everytime the crazy prophecy women did her thing in front of a crowd it looked very made-for-TV like most SK stuff comes off.

I really want to see it. When I was a kid I had a cd of that story being acted out with sound effects and everything. It was recorded with some bi-naural techmology and was completely 3d with headphones, making it really spooky (for a kid). It ran 70 minutes or so... I must have listened to it a hundred times.
I really can't wait to see this....

Yeah, a couple shots kinda worried me because it looked somewhat "made-for-TV" but the director is good so we'll see. I can't wait for their interpretations of a nightmarish giant living kite.
