Then again, I'm surprised it looks as good as it does, with no Raven behind it. Thats a good job for them, but I still fail to see a point... Is it JUST killing people, or is there a game behind it? If its moving from A to B while shooting 2000 enemies... Well, I dunno if I can handle another one of those :(

this earlier story makes it look like it'll be inhouse, but obviously it's unlikely that'll be from the ground up.

and the point is that it's moving from a to b while shooting 2000 enemies into pieces, which is something people like doing.

It's their own proprietary engine called Cloak. I've seen it do some amazing stuff.

I'm not sure what you're comment about "JUST killing people" means. It's an FPS, not Brain Age.

Seriously. Buy it. Or I'm coming for all of you.

Also, if you have a DS, PSP or Xbox Live go buy Puzzle Quest.

If you have a PSP, DS, and Xbox buy it on all the platforms.

Same rules apply. No purchase = DIAF.

edit: you can also get it on PC, so none of you have an excuse not to buy it.

true. people also like seeing something other than the left leg and right arm falling off of every AI in the game regardless of the location of the hit. That's simply an observation of that demo of course, I could be completely wrong.

Only thing I'm saying is it looks like you'll be dodging your way through brightly lit Freddy Cougar film.

Unless of course you play Puzzle Quest, wherein you'll learn it's infinitely better than whatever shitheap of a game you're talking about.

From what I can tell from the internets (Its not finishing being "bought" yet), its supposed to be VERY budget label, with awful control, horrid frame rates, ugly visuals and boring game play. But its not longer a budget label game, its being sold at full price...

The game feels like straight console port.

But the gore is great. The movement feels a bit wooden and the difficulty is a bit unforgiving (around 4 shots and it's bye bye). And when you run, you can only run forwards, you can't "strafe run" like in most FPS's. Also, the guns, while looking great, lack the 'oomph' that the frist 2 games had.

It may no longer be advertised as a value game. But it sure does feel like one. Even the readme that comes with the game says "Activision Value" - as does the program menu entry after game installation.

Glad I didn't pay for this. Huge disappointment.

Such a shame.
