Some good texture banks?

Post by highlanderstl »

Besides from the textures on the maps I have. Is there any good places to obtain a large number of textures?

Here some places with texture packs:
http://meanarena.planetquake.gamespy.com/downloads.html - Scroll down to the Texture Packs Section
http://hfx.planetquake.gamespy.com/macfiles.html - Scroll down to Quake3:Arena Texture Packs

ATM, I'm looking for a BLUE "lava" texture. Has anyone seen this?

Has anybody created a WWII'ish texture set for either Doom3 or Quake 4 yet?

There is a matching red one, and just because it's called fire doesnt mean you cant use it for something else. :>

This looks like purple lava to me.
It's a matter of display calibration, maybe.
You can also try slime for blue team because it's the official approach.
