The door slammed shut behind him and the handles fell off, so he stayed there until someone tried to get in.
How does something like that happen, if a handle falls off, you don't just decide to stay in there, you brake it down.
What would you do?
in all likelihood the ceiling would be plasterboard or drywall as americans call it,punch a hole through it, make a hole big enough to crawl through follow the wall line then kick the ceiling out then drop down into another room or the hallway.
