Ran the same test running Vista, and only got 154.
Well I did a timedemo in :q3: running Vista and got 600 FPS on my new system. I think it might get bumped a bit when I set the ram and cpu to the right speeds.

What have you been running on it to properly test it?

I just threw on UT3 on mine and ran it at 1280*1024*bells*whistles, I wasn't optimistic about it handling it totally flawlessly... it did, smooth as can be, not a hint of jerkiness, just perfection.

Actually I haven't checked the bios to see if the ram and cpu are set at the right speed.
Basically it's a new os install on both systems, with basically just the video card drivers installed.
Since I keep a copy of a new install of an os, and an install of the basic programs I install, it takes me less than 5 minutes to re-install the os.

But Xp was a stripped down version. And I also disabled the 2nd monitor.
You can do this with nvidia control panel, but I find it still takes away from some of the FPS. I think I might just do a dual boot and have Vista for my day to day stuff, and run XP for gaming.

Or technically if you're going to do both, you should do it the other way around because xp is aged and more stable, with more proven software for "day to day", and vista has the latest directx for games.
