The problem is, as soon as you offer a privatized option on health care is that there will be an automatic funneling of funds directly to the privatized system and an absence in the public one. Those who lobby for a private health care "option" don't really consider the consequences to the public system.

People pay for the better privatized "option" which increases funding, better doctors move to the privatized system, etc. Eventually, the public system degrades to the point that it's not really an option at all.

A big thank you for the well wishes and kind thoughts. I reckon it helps in recovery.
