FF3 beta is pretty darn nice also. fyi. also, nice to see that apparently IE8 will be more web standard compliant.

Yes, it's good that they're going to actually be standard compliant, but that doesn't mean I'll actually use IE over Firefox on a normal basis. But +1 for no more hackery just to make sure that IE doesn't break stuff.
FF3 is also supposed to be acid2 compliant. There are a few small bugs in the current versions that prevents it from being 100% compliant.

i don't see IE ever being my main browser (gotta use it at work though), but i bounce between Opera and FF for my daily fix.

i went from IE6 to MyIE later dubbed Maxthon, now with FF 2 and love it, using IE on my friends vista box makes me cringe

IE7 is pretty web compliant already. right now both IE and FF need their own hacks to get stuff working according to w3 standards.
