windows automatic updates

i got an update for IE 7 from the automatic update, and since i'm not using IE is there a way to remove that update without installing it or having it popup/have the shield in the task bar displayed for said update ?

Uncheck updates you don't want
Install (or Close if you unchecked everything)
Check Don't Notify Me Again
