Just got LASIK...

I heard of someone having it done.
Then they had a problem with their eyes, not from the surgery though.
But she had to pay again to reverse the procedure before they got cure the main problem. I think she paid like $6,000, then about 2 months later, had to pay another $6,000.

I had it done exactly three years ago, so so far so good I was definitely freaked out over someone messing (understatement) with my eyes, but I'm glad I did it, for the most part. We'll see 20 years from now though. I guess I didn't mind being a guinea pig?

It was definitely discomforting, they put a lot of pressure on my eyelids to keep them open, but the valium afterwards made it better

My only concern is the long term effects... what happens 20, 30 or 40 yrs after you've had the surgery?

Everyone I've spoken to raves about it but there are still long term questions that needs answering for me... what do you guys think?

like your eyes wouldnt be worse off 40 years from now anyways
