Long delat before windows logo.

Before I reformat to try and fix this, i've triesd everything I can think of and google didn't help too much. My problem is before the grey bar at the bottom of the screen (The one before the windows xp logo with the blue bar) there is a minute or so delay before that bar comes up. It wouldn't be a problem but it's annoying when I have to reboot and have to wait that long.

Ive tried bootvis, and some other "tweaks" but nothing has fixed it.

If anyone knows, or has any ideas, it would be appreciated, thanks :>

it could be a app hanging, Fragmentation on the harddrive.

Uhhhh, it could be a few things, but ya know, in the end.. a format is allways nice

Check the event viewer (Control Panel, Admin Tools) for hung services.
