He's right. I thought the same thing you did, and then watched the Karate episode of Fight Quest and was very impressed.

In Human Weapon they push themselves a bit, but never to the limit. Fight Quest lets their two guys get bloody, bruised, and generally fucked up. It's great, you should give it a try.

The two on Fight Quest are put through some insane training cycles right before a fight.

Yeah, that's why I like it much more. Fight Quest is what Human Weapon will be when it grows up. Try comparing episodes, it's night and day. Yeah they're ripoffs of eachother because they're both ripoffs of a much older show done years before except with a woman (iirc a kickboxer).
