Vista 64 is about ten times better than I was expecting it to be. And x64 Ultimate is cheap on OEM.

I was expecting slow performance, application compatability problems, and the UI to be a load of pap.
What I got is something plenty speedy enough, runs everything I have, and the UI is fine once you adjust to the 'new' stuff.
