Yes it is Juggs

1st and 2nd Gen Samsung players will not be able to use features on new Blu Ray discs - so people are playing it safe and getting a PS3

no, DC, that's not what i'm saying. the PS3 has as good a picture or better than most any BR player out there especially for the money.

is there really a difference between one BR players out put over another? or even DVD (assuming they have the same general capabilities) and one costs 150 and another costs 30 bucks, is there really a difference?

i dont know shit about this stuff.

of course there's a difference in output if you mean quality-wise. if there wasn't, then they should apply that same tech to displays so you could pick up any set and it would look mint.

Startup times for the players to get to the main menu, for one thing. Trivial, I know, but it's a difference. :p

I got my hd-dvd player free with my tv. I also have approx. 30 hd-dvds. All good though, now i'll just start shopping for blu-ray players :up:

Allthough i do wonder if the next blu-ray players will have hd-dvd compatability
