Holly smokes. Did you see that just now. That came out on The Internet two months ago.
There are now videos of copy cat events in the Toronto Eaton Center, and the UK Trafalgar Square.

Life occasionally causes me to miss the latest and greatest things on the internet.
I try to keep up, but I don't work too hard at it.
It was the first time I'd seen it though - I thought it was pretty cool.

I loved it too, the same group of people has quite a few more events they organized, the ones I love the best are when they dress up like company employees, and then flood the store en mass. The best one being when they flooded Best Buy with about 80 people dressed up like the Best Buy employees. They got in all sorts of trouble, security, managers, the police, the whole 9 yards.
They even do subway rides, where the only thing they wear is undergarments, and the girls are nice.

Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
Very cool.
Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
The cybermen's central control unit has been destroyed! Brilliant job, Doctor!
Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
I'm kinda suprised that lasted for 5 minutes... you would think someone would have done more than touch a frozen person... epically the guy that worked there.
Very neat though.
edit: I really doubt I would call my boss (or an co-worker) to tell them I can't drive my little truck through the area b/c people are frozen like it's some time trap...

Very cool. I hadn't seen this one before. Wish I had been there to see it in person.

Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
Apparantly the frozen prank in New York was such a success that a world wide one has been organized:

You know, the brilliant thing is that there's people taking pictures of the frozen people.
"Look at these pictures! Everyone was frozen! How amazing!"

Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
I was wondering that myself...
Re: Frozen in Grand Central Station
Not too dumb so long as they took pictures from two different places.
Of course, most of them probably weren't thinking about that.
