Yes, but not from a storm. I've accumulated 5' of snow in the front yard.

We've had two feet since Friday. Snow on my deck and next to driveway is easily 4 feet deep now. It was all gone just a few days ago. There's pretty much no way we could get out of our driveway right now.

Lucky me, it's been raining all day and is supposed to continue into tomorrow. With any luck, a foot or three will disappear by Monday.

With winds we're up between 6 and 12 inches in Northern Kentucky/Southern Ohio. Not 2-5 feet but for this area that's pretty significant.

Started yesterday afternoon and still hasn't stopped.

Cleared the driveway and brushed the car quite a few times, but it kept building up instantly

Even the city plows got owned:

PS. Puff doesn't believe me that it's snowing here. He thinks he's still living in Israel or some shit :olo:

If I had opened the front door before shoveling, quite a bit would have fallen in...

Man, I'll tell ya what. I had to go to Cleveland to pick up my brother at Hopkins airport last night who is on vacation and decided to hang out with me for a week.. He must have made the last flight in before they all got canceled. I left at 6:00PM and got there at 8:00 PM when the storm was at it's worst. The Interstate was a horrid mess and on the way back, it was CLOSED!

Knowing my way around the Great Lakes region, I took my driving skills to the test and decided to take the back way and here is where the fun began........................

If you notice the pic of my Chevy 4X4 I posted earlier you will see how much snow is packed in every part of it. I filled up in Cleveland ($91.00 US) and we also got soda, beer, chips, and smokes ($47.00 US) and hit the back roads. there was no sign of a snow plow anywhere on the 3 hour drive from Cleveland to Ashtabula Ohio which normally takes an hour. The 2 feet of snow was not the real problem, it was the drifts covering the roads as much as 5 feet deep. The 'Ol Chevy was in 4WD the whole way home pounding through thousands of snow drifts and I had to hold the gas at almost half throttle going 30 MPH to plow through this shit. I could not see the road, but had to estimate where it was by judging the mailboxes. Some of the drifts were so deep, the snow would blast over my windshield. By time I got home, my eyes were all messed up and my hands hurt from gripping the wheel so tight the whole way home.

Needless to say, we got home safe. The fuel tank is on empty, I am outta smokes, and totally exhausted. Today we drank beer and shoveled the driveway.

The end :)

I'm in Akron, Mulletman, so you weren't to far from me. Are you in Ashtabula?
