What kind of fucking massive nerd do you have to be to hate a game engine?

You've got to be a special type of nerd to get to the level of hate. Most people would give up after a basic dislike....

I'd like to disagree. AOE 2 is the best RTS ever.

Honestly, I feel that Tiberian Sun was the last good EA/Westwood RTS to be released. RA2 was plagued with bad net code. C & C 3 was boring and so was Generals.

I live 100 meters from the old Westwood Studios building here in Vegas. Ever since the building closed (right before RA2 was released) the games have gone down the hill.

Tiberian Sun wasn't nearly as fun as RA2/Yuri's revenge. Net code or nerd talk aside, it was a better game in every way.

For quick fun RA2 was excellent. For long largescale slaughter RA was top. Tib sun, although strategically strong just wasn't as much fun.

funny how EA recently stated that their "C&C"-stragety (buying out a developer, churning out sequels) doesnt work, and a few weeks later they announce RA3 :dork:
