Letter with colors and grapple.

Hi. I'M a recent QUAKE 3 ARENA fan. Sometimes,in Freeze Tag arenas like @camping@server@ they enable the grapple but i don't know how to activate this one. How am i suppose to activate it? Some players told me "type in console/bind mouse 2 + another thing that i dont remember. Can somebody tell me the exact sentence that i have to write in the console? that would be greatly appreciated



And recently,i joined the Aqua clan starring BigGuy and Hunter. and they told me " to join,write aqua in your nickname in color.I tried but it didn't worked. my name was *AQUA* Ronald Mcdonald without color and they didn't like it.they called me a noob and they threw me out( )


Can somebody help?

A lot of mods have offhand grapple set to something like +button12 or +button13 so

/bind x +button12

or

/bind x +button13

Actually,

In excessive plus & FREEZ TAG mod the graplle is activated by this command:

/bind x +button5


( Or maybe corncob man is right)

And to write ur name in colour
just add these values b4 the letters:
^1 or ^2 or ^3.........

For eg
^1*AQUA^4* ^2Ronald ^3mcdonald

will appear as:
*AQUA* Ronald Mcdonald

IMHO you are better off w/o them. If they make an issue of such a trivial matter, they must be real idiots. They simply could have told you how to do it. I suggest you look for an other clan.
