HD DVD/Blu Ray emulator?

Is there such thing for a PC? Microsoft was making an hddvd emulator for the 360 but was cut due to toshiba being dicks and killing hddvd.

It's a hardware thing... so the 'emulator' would be... the drive.

I wonder if I could rip my HD-DVDs to 1080p DVDs and then play them in a BluRay player. I only bought one, but just got the 5 free ones.

if you mean 'virtual drive' disc emulators, not yet afaik, but they are w.i.p and coming soon.

Also, thinking about it for...hmm a few seconds If you mean mounting blu-ray images, surely they're just ISO's regardless of size, in which case they should mount to pretty much any program, alcohol/poweriso..etc...so I figure thats 'not' what you're talking about...you'll have to reiterate the question as i've had a few bevvys

AnyDVD can supposedly rip HD-DVD and BluRay and then play back from hard drive.
