Excel n00b needs help

Okay, I'm an idiot.

You know how you can hide and unhide rows and columns by selecting it and then right click and hide/unhide? Good.

What I can't find is where you can get the "buttonated hiding", I mean, that you have a grey pane next to the numbers(and/or letters) and a + icon, when clicking it automatically unhides certain rows and when clicking the - icon it automatically hides certain rows.

I hope you understood what I'm looking for.
