Captain Mazda wrote:Yeah I made that map. In the editor I think there are some objects missing. For example, the flashing warning and direction boards.
These boards are here:
elements folder 5/subfolder 1/element 7
elements folder 8/subfolder 6/elements 2+4
elements folder 8/subfolder 8/elements 3+4+7

After building the element klick the paint-pot symbol bottom right, then klick/select the object again and select the desired (animated) texture in the appearing pop-up menu.

eh... i got a 40.25 on that one.
Best I got so far was 40:19 at finish line. I always fuck up the last jump. Before that I'm up to 0.4sec faster...

i did a 39.90 and i had a major fuck up...though it's actually what allowed me to get so much speed at the end. i also got hella lucky on that last jump.

I thought they would be stored within your on-line profile.

Wtf? Christ, I'm sorry if it fucked anything up. One of my other friends was playing it just fine without problem, I don't know what happened :(

It's easier if you just select the "copy to clipboard" option and paste the code.

....not a really good time, but I'm glad every time I cross finishing line at all.
The track looks great but tbh it contains too many parts where just luck dominates. Mazda, do some real fine tuning so one can reach a good score by practise and proficiency and not only by the luck not to be catapulted onto the roof or hop uncontrolled across the track...

On the other hand one does astonishing discoverys...never knew how much hidden material manifests by whacking a keypad. Especially caraway seed....piles of it.... :owned:

Damn good looking map, looks like you spent more than a few minutes on it. :smirk:

but with a 128Mb card, 2Gb of RAM, and a 2.6 Ghz cpu, it's totally unplayable... I would have posted a time, but I can't get past the first loop from the spikes.

yeah, but then you don't get the ghost only the time, which isn't nearly as useful or fun.

Thanks for the critique everyone, here's the last version of the map:

http://files.filefront.com/CaptMazdaEnd ... einfo.html

Much more fun since there's no more relying on dumb luck. It's all about timing and precision as suggested :)

PS. I also added the .ogg for the music if you wanna try and get it to play during the map.

And here's the replay ghost for my best time on the map. I beat my validation time by 0.96 seconds after almost 20 tries and got the author medal :)
