I'm left wondering...with the increasing pit bull bans

Post by EtUL »

I was thinking...Ohio is talking about a statewide pit bull ban, and more and more places have been banning them. Of course, the living dogs once the bill is passed are rounded up and euthanazied.

What I want to know is, at some point don't they get moved to "threatened" and then eventually "endangered"? How long till the animals we're killing are endangered according to the endangered species act? I might make a case for this just to fuck with people.

Pit bulls just killed a 7 year old boy in Breckenridge which is about an hour form here earlier this week. They were the boy's neighbor's dogs. Supposedly tame. I don't care what anyone says about the owners or whatever. They are dangerous by nature. Yeah, sure there are the ones that never even growl at anyone, but as a whole do you think it's coincidence that there are so many reports about pits injuring or killing people?

Oh, and to answer your question. We as humans pretty much created all the dog breeds so they were never natural to begin with. All dogs have the same DNA as wolves and selective breeding is the result with pits, chihuahuas, dobermans, etc. We created them, so I don't see how the endangered species list applies.

Bullshit, you're making ignorant generalizations and your posts prove it. You wonder about the amount of reports about pitbulls because the media report every last one of them. You NEVER hear about any but the so-called 'vicious breeds' attacking people in spite of the fact that it happens ALL THE FUCKING TIME. The difference is it's not good TV to hear about a cocker spaniel biting somebody.
Banning dogs by breed is fucking stupid, try banning idiots, it'll do a lot more good. As a matter of fact, let's start by banning Texas.

I'm not talking about 'biting'. I'm talking about mauling to death. Sure, any dog is apt to bite someone. The difference being that they usually just bite once and move on. Note that I said usually.

And, don't expect me to get offended by you mentioning Texas. I'm not from here, I just happen to live here and wouldn't be too upset if it slid off into the ocean.

Everyone knows, the REAL threat is poodles. The French bred poodles to be killers so that they wouldn't have to surrender anymore. They did such a great job, they ended up surrendering the dogs to all the other countries. Turns out, that was a great plan. Now, we all have to live in fear of the dwarf mutations that are terrorizing old people communities all over the U.S of A.

DAMN YOU FRANCE!

Name me another breed that you've heard about killing someone that isn't in the 'vicious breeds' category. You can't, because the media doesn't cover it.
How many pits have you known?

Right, no other dogs bite or kill people. Or it could be that certain breeds tend to be owned by fucking morons that treat their animals like shit and train them for aggressive behaviors.
Do you think guns should be banned, too? Fuck, they kill a lot of people.
Of the 'lots' of pitbulls you've known, how many of them were aggressive towards you and how many of them were owned by dipshits that liked it that way.
Seriously, if you think that any given breed of dog is 'vicious' on its own, you don't know much about dogs.

A lucid thought by a Marine. AND it is 100% correct. I am amazed and impressed. :D

Seriously: Morons train moronic dogs. Morons raise moronic kids. Same principal all around. Making laws outlawing this and banning that simply ignores the root and true cause of problems. Not to mention, legitimizes fools who think their behavior is acceptible.

I can't believe you of all people tried to compare guns to dogs. Besides, where did I say they should be banned? :smirk:

Do you even read what I post or do you just scan over it and deliberately misunderstand it to suit your point? I already said that I believe all dogs are capable of biting or killing. Pits are more likely to grab hold and not give up until your a bloody fucking heap of dead shit. And what is it that pit owners say when their dog does attack someone? 'He was the sweetest dog ever until this happened.'

I think chihuahuas are more aggressive than pits, just at their size no one takes them seriously. I've been around dogs all my life and out of all of them pits were the majority that were aggressive towards me. Never been attacked by one, just confronted. I have been bitten by other types of dogs. One bite and that was the end of it. You seem to be getting a bit aggressive, how's your owner treating you?

my little buddy. 3/4 pit bull, and has never hurt a soul. Shits pure awesomeness. Best dog my 20 bucks (for puppy rescue adoption, well, plus 1200 bucks for kneecap surgery) can buy.
