The Kennedy assassination

Post by Nightshade »

All right people, I'm interested to know just how many of you think that Oswald killed JFK, or if you subscribe to one of the many conspiracy theories regarding the assassination. e.g. CIA did it, mafia did it, defense/industrial complex did it, anti-Castro Cubans did it, etc. Or if you're geoof, jews from space did it to prevent Americans from landing on the moon and recovering Hitler's freeze-dried brain.
Whatever your thoughts, please explain if you can on what you base this belief. This is driven by the book that I'm reading, in which the author makes some interesting statements about widely held beliefs regarding JFK.

i wouldn't even know... but in the end of any conspiracy someone can dream up, he's still dead thanks to a bullet in the brain

So, articulate your position geoof. You clearly believe that there was a conspiracy, but on what do you base that view?

Oslwald was a wannabe Soviet and was pissed at the government. So he kills the President. Ruby then kills Oswald cause he was a "Patriot" and he loved his country and his President. Plus Ruby was a bit of a nutjob.

I think it's pretty straight forward.

Haven't read too much about the whole thing to be honest, but i nudge towards conspiracy because it's the hip thing to do. I did read a story in a (badly written) fictional book about the CIA by a former CIA guy and in it he claimed it was the Cubans who were pissed off at him after trying to whack Castro several times... and the whole Bay of Pigs thing. Which i thought was interesting & funny.

lol, I'm not saying I believe he got snuffed by Cubans, but that would be poetic justice if it were true. I know, I know, I'm a horrible person. But man. lollers. :D

USSR did it, because of the Missile Crisis thing, and the they can't just admit that that would look bad, so they created many fake conspiracies to cover it up ?

lol, 'everyone knows'. So in other words, in your standard modus operandi, you're just parroting things that you've heard. What a surprise. It's very convenient to keep claiming that I believe the government, isn't it geoof? It makes it so much easier for you to continue not thinking.

Just did a little googling =>

"Even though the JFK Act states that all assassination records must be made public by 2017, a top CIA official noted in a court filing that the Agency has the right to keep as many as 1,100 still-secret JFK records out of public view beyond that date."

ffs, in whose interest would that be?
I mean, even if there were a godawful, filthy govt lead conspiracy, at that point heads are not going to roll anymore anyway.

It's been way too long since I've done any reading on the topic, personally.

I did enough, in my mind, to decide that I was fairly certain there was something fishy about it, and that there were probably some people in certain agencies who may have greased the wheels a little to allow it to happen. Making an informed decision was important to me, but remembering the details really wasn't.

That's pretty much where I was with the whole thing, and after I get a few more non-geoof responses I'll explain why I asked this question.

Nice try, cockmonger. My point stands, you think that moon landing pic is fake because you can't see the stars, and because you're retarded.

Yes, you do, which is why you said as much when it was brought up months ago and you were smashed into a pulp over it. Why else do you think DB brought it up in the other thread?
