The last movie you saw
Re: The last movie you saw
Hot Fuzz 4/10
I don't think i laughed even once during the entire length of the movie. Like Shaun of the Dead, it was a good idea with shitty excecution. They understand the concept of satire, then fuck it up completely by introducing a story and not going far enough with the absurdity.
These guys should probably stop making movies.

Ryoki you don't like good stuff. I feel bad for you.
Re: The last movie you saw
Hot Fuzz was hilarious.
It wasn't the last movie I saw, but I'll rate it anyways.

Indiana Jones 4: 6 / 10
Definately not the best Jones out there. The whole story with the kid irritated me.
The scene with the monkeys completely ruined the rest of the movie for me. For those who saw, how retarded was that whole scene with the monkeys and vines?
I felt there was something missing from this Indiana Jones and it just didn't feel the same to me. The movie would have gotten an extra point and scooted up to a marginal grade of "C" had they excluded the kid and his mom from the entire script.
Final Verdict: D

Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Oh pfft. The one-liners were tired and predictable, the weird mix of comedy-horror-action-drama just fails utterly, the first two thirds of the film are a total yawnfest and the last 20 minutes are entertaining but just not worth the agonizingly long setup at all. Timothy Dalton as the creepy supermarket owner was the only good thing about it.

It's a very British film too, so maybe you're missing some cultural references.
I come from an area like that (same county in fact, Gloucestershire), and the character studies were nigh-on perfect.
In particular, the incomprehensible old geezers and Doris the floozy.

Sex In The City is, supposedly, the WORST movie ever to grace the cinema screen. Its 2 and a half hours of utter mind boggling shite. Every person who has seen it, man and woman alike, has told me that it not only makes the TV show look like Shakespeare in comparison, but also makes Sarah Jessica Parker even MORE ugly, something which until recently I thought was impossible. I have it on medical fact that 73% of the women that went in to see this film are now incapable of having children because of how bad this film was. One guy who went to see it with his girlfriend came out muttering over and over "its only a film... its only a film...". I would honestly rather stick nails into my foreskin while sticking a hammer side ways into my anus, than watch even the slightest second of the trailer for this film. It should never of been made, and I condemn the people who were involved in it to hell for all eternity.
But yeah, enjoy it wont you.

Sex and the City 8/10.
The movie was fantastic. If you like the show, you'll love the fucking movie. It's 2hr 20 minutes long (which almost felt too long cause we went at 10 and I was tired lol)
There was a lot of man ass in it and a dick shot so I know there's a few of you running out there to get tickets.
Lots of twists and it was actually quite funny. I think there were 4 guys there and probably 150-200 chicks. Definitely a chick flick (which isn't really my thing anyways) but definitely awesome. I'll buy it when it comes out...

She has no make up on in a few scenes and when they showed her face everyone in the audience breathed in really sharply like "holy shit what a dog" that was funny too.o'dium wrote:...but also makes Sarah Jessica Parker even MORE ugly, something which until recently I thought was impossible...

Re: The last movie you saw
doesn't surprise me the least bit, I always knew that bitch was too ugly for tv... one can only speculate how a skank like that become such a big time actress.vileliquid1026 wrote:She has no make up on in a few scenes and when they showed her face everyone in the audience breathed in really sharply like "holy shit what a dog" that was funny too.o'dium wrote:...but also makes Sarah Jessica Parker even MORE ugly, something which until recently I thought was impossible...

Re: The last movie you saw
It was in Vietnam at the time of the original comic book, cause that was "current affairs" at the time (in the 60s). So they picked something "current affairs" in the present, cause otherwise they would have had to set it in the 60s or something. I haven't seen it yet, though. Or read the comics, old or new.Tsakali wrote:never knew about iron man as a kid..7.5/10

I played as War Machine which is just like him, though, in Marvel Vs Capcom. I think I played as Iron Man a few times aswell cause I played as a secret version of War Machine the few times when people told me how to select him. (I think War Machine is going to be in the sequel (to the film).)
Re: The last movie you saw
Indiana Jones and crystal skull...6/10. It was a good addition to the series but not stellar. maybe it's time to just let it die.
