Firefox 3 RC1 out

Post by +JuggerNaut+ »

for those that didn't auto-update: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

p.s. don't cry about your extensions/themes not working. adblockplus and noscript are not broken.

Yeah the extensions usually catch up quickly. Auto-updater btw.

I just upgraded to it, and I like it so far. I think I'll even stick with the default theme, I kinda like it.

Does anyone else have the problem of Firefox asking about being the default browser almost every time Firefox is started?

This happens to me on XP x64.

New address bar guessing is a bit flowery.

Pop-up/notifications bar is straight out of IE7 but imitation is the best form of flattery. Doesn't play well with slow graphics cards as it slides down and re-renders the page about 10 times... not very well done but IE7 has the same issue.

Like the new about:config warning :D

Hay look.

A new about:mozilla passage.
Mammon slept. And the beast reborn spread over the earth and its numbers
grew legion. And they proclaimed the times and sacrificed crops unto the
fire, with the cunning of foxes. And they built a new world in their own
image as promised by the
sacred words, and spoke
of the beast with their children. Mammon awoke, and lo! it was
naught but a follower.

Must have updated while I was at work or something. I'm getting the warning now and I show ff3 full.

I haven't had any problems with the toolbar either.
