I don't enjoy standing on the same side of the street as LawL... it makes me feel dirty... but, he just illustrated, with seremtans help, that Aussies have a better sense of humor than Brits. I guess when England sent all those convicts down under, they sent all the humor with em. :olo:

Edit: Oh yeah, permission to land...DENIED!

My apologies to any Celts or Gaels I may have inadvertently offended.

Also, the views expressed by Peenyuh on internet forums are not necessarily the views of this poster.

no, you piñata of pea-brained pericombobulations, because i'm alluding to a cultural factor about how australians view themselves in relation to britain - or europe in general (the cultural cringe) - and how they over-compensate for the cringe by considering it THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD to get one over on the poms (who meanwhile are totally indifferent to their efforts, which just makes it sting even worse)

the scots and welsh are the same. on the rare occasions they beat england at something it's like 4th july, thanksgiving and christmas all rolled into one. when england beat them at something, it's just another day at the office

you with me now, pancho? :olo:

england enjoys beating germany, france and argentina because of beating them in wars as well, and it's nice to rub it in

also, who's this "one of us lot"? do you mean "countries conquered or ruled by england"? :olo:

Now, switch "USA" with "britain" and "anyone" with "australians". That hits the nail a bit more square.

only a tiny minority of chinless aristos are descended from the normans (who used to be vikings until they were gayed up by living in france all those years)

actually as far as i know we dont know that, because the saxon and norman gene closely resemble each other they cant really tell the difference between the 2

its why when any research into genes in the brittish aisles goes on they class the saxons and normans as 1 group

except that no one else plays your homoerotic full-body-armour-wearing sports, and you had your asses kicked by the vietnamese, since which time you've selected only the weakest, least dangerous opponents to go to war with while simultaneously talking them up as a dire menace to civilization

that hits the nail squarely and buries it deep in that refried bean burrito you call a skull :olo:
