VQ3 1v1

Post by kentinet »

Hi!

I have 2 questions.

1: I have created a Vq3 1v1 server and i would like to add a bot. OSP commands to add a bot seems not fit in a cpm config, so how do i do it?

2: My computer with the server.cfg runs linux and have patch version 1.32b. Is it possible to have both 1.32 and 1.31 installed at the same time? When i try to install 1.31 in a different folder then quake3 (were 1.32 is installed) it will fail...

/K.

1 - /addbot botname followed by a number from 1 through 100 to indicate skill level.

2 - No.

2. Yes. The installer has an option to unpack the archive and not run the installer (don't know it off the top of my head, but --help is your friend here). Unpack and copy the files the the directory of your choice. Don't forget to link to the pak?.pk3 files.

Actually, I remember using a version changer made for QIII, it went back all the way to 1.27 I think. But it was years ago, I have no idea if they have updated it to work with 1.32
