I don't like anyone who charges people fees like $200 to hook up an HDTV and stereo or $50 in install virus scanning software or $100 to install windows or whatever else they do.....but I guess they don't make the prices and if people are willing to pay it what can you do. I just saw one leaving my neighbors house and getting into his geek squadmobile with his slacks and ties and badge and whatnot.
Maybe she was making his 3.5 inch floppy into a 5.25 inch one.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...hmm.

They charge me big bucks when I have to call em out to the house, but I haven't been charged yet for going down to Best Buy and picking their brains. And, one time, I even brought in one of my comps. They put hands on it, fixed the problen and told me "don't worry about it. Granted, it turned out to be a minor fix. ((unfortunate choice if wire placement) But I thought it was pretty cool that she did it gratis.

Picking their brains for what? Spyware removal or something?

Those guys have an A+ certification usually and not much more AFAIK. Anything they would have to fix you should be able to find answers to asking around here or elsewhere.

AFAIK? I don't know what that means.

I am less comp savy than a 3rd grader. I go in and ask stuff like...well..."what is the big difference between such-and-such power supply and this other one?" They explain it to me in idiot terms 'cause they already know that I don't know the tech terms for anything, but that I can understand it in my own fashion.

And the female Geeks are hot. :D

TBH, IMHO I think that is correct. However, ATM it may be used for other things as well.

Record time to find the cube? Time sitting on it?
