I am not gay, but I gotta say it really looks like he worked out a lot to get how he looks in Psycho. If you watch The Machinist you can see that he is 120 pounds and a walking skeleton. So Bale really gets into his roles.

Re: The last movie you saw
it's an 8 year old movie, i think the statute of limitations for spoilers has expired.tnf wrote: OH MAN I HADN'T SEEN IT YET WHERE'S THE SPOILER WARNING MAN!!!
Is Christian bale as hot as they say in that one?
and yes all women probably want to rub his body when they see that movie.
Re: The last movie you saw
I wasn't serious about the spoiler issue - I figured since the movie is that old people would get that.

Re: The last movie you saw
Hollywood Knights 3/10.
+8 Classic car display ownage.
+1 Time stamp. (early80's)
-4 Ridiculously mind numbing stereo types/extreme stupidity.
-2 Fran Dreschier/RobertWahl/Tony Danza.
I remember seeing this movie (about 10 years old) at the theater and thinking it was teh awseome.
Watched again latst nite in a drunken bedtime nostalgia fit and laffed my ass off.

Have you seen it? It's Bale's career defining performance imo, and one of my favourite movies ever.tnf wrote:I wasn't serious about the spoiler issue - I figured since the movie is that old people would get that.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Just watched the Machinist and it was pretty crazy and a typical Bale Performance. I give it a 7/10.

Looks like Bellender is very bitter and upset.

Tropic Thunder - 8.5/10
Politically incorrect, very wrong, and goddamn hilarious.
I was surprised that Tom Cruise had such a big part in it - and even more surprised he didn't kill the funny. Quite the contrary.

Clone Wars. Don't know what all the haters are on about. There's not much more you could expect from a cartoon.

I don't think I ever will want to see Clone Wars, because Episode 2 fucked up that so bad. Honestly when I first saw Episode 2 in theaters I was like 14 and I thought it was much better then Episode 1, but now that I look back at the prequels I just think they are garbage.

The original Clone Wars cartoon/movie blows Ep 1, 2 and 3 out of the water for story, action and dialogue.Helljumper wrote:I don't think I ever will want to see Clone Wars, because Episode 2 fucked up that so bad. After watching it you'll think the prequels were even bigger garbage.

Are you nuts? There was only one good part of that movie (paintball hijinx). The rest was just weak. 1/10

watched miller's crossing last night - had seen it a few years ago but was still fantastic.

ocean's 13 on the hbo.

Doomsday: 4/10
Had high hopes during the first 30 minutes or so then it became a rather boring mishmash of b-movie shit.
In the Valley of Elah: 6/10
Decent on the whole. It didn't go far enough and wasn't nearly as subtle as it should have been in handling human complexity..but this is Haggis so I'll give him some props for being less ham-fisted than he was with Crash.

They kinda went overboard with the absurd jokes in this one. For instance: "I'm not a baby, i'm a tumor!" etc. Had me laughing quite a bit actually.
