Fucking hell...you people expect a 9 year old to have mastered styles when influences such as family and religion are involved....with an impressionable 9 year old? She's probably still finding out what she likes to paint. At her age the "Dogs Playing Poker" would probably be fun for her to paint.

Seriously...you people are expecting too much from a fucking child. Morons.

She's 9 years old and already has a commanding grasp of texture, lighting, composition and pose. The faces have slightly fucked features...but she's 9 years old...she'll improve.

For any of you moronic doubters, her work is on par with any concept artist in the games industry (minus the fucked facial features...because she's 9 years old).

I get the feeling some of you still wouldn't be impressed if she put a paintbrush in her snatch and painted doing a handstand.
That requires I actually believe that she's painting these. There's enough doubt about whether or not she's even doing the painting to make any questions about style moot.

Not that I'm trying to brag but I could draw black and white sketches easily as good as her paintings when I was 12... They aren't difficult to do either once you get the hang of shadows and facial shapes and sizes. Also if there's no tape of her doing one from start to at least halfway through a painting then she's definitely faking it. No question in my mind because when I did the same thing. I copied shit from magazines and comic books, it wasn't difficult and I produced some amazing looking stuff for my age.

However, after a few years of copying I did start drawing things myself, like a self portrait and several other things. That doesn't make me somekind of genius though, just someone that learned how to draw, probably just like her.

At least I drew dragons and cool shit, not some religious crap.

Hey guess what...there's no tape of Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel, either. I think it was faked and painted by a donkey dipping it's tail in paint and flicking it at the wall. Or maybe Bigfoot painted it. Plus all the religious objects in the painting really assault my style sensibilities about sucking authoritarian cock.

If it ever comes to light that she actually did paint them I'm gonna laugh.

I'm gonna have to agree with GFY on this one. I'm not sure if you people understand how great of a mind set it takes to grasp lighting, composition, and perspective in order to paint like this. And she's only a child.

Also, not everyone is a fake...

Ok, a 4 year old girl claims she talks to god, who imbued her with talent in order to help and convert others. She markets herself as some kind of messiah, and refuses to actually paint in front of people.

I thought you fuckers were enlightened.

The point is that the story reeks of fraud.

All I'm saying is that since semencan would probably fuck her, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

If it's fake, it's fake. But I'm not gonna base that on a few links to sites poo pooing her authenticity. That one expert on that site "that's not how a fan brush is used"....wtf? I use Maya day in day out and I do things differently than the guy next to me. Who fucking cares how a child uses a tool? The result is what matters.

Oh probably.

Then, instead of people here, I'll direct my laughter at gullible religious fagg0ts who spent thousands on a painting.

Yeah except oil paintings aren't that easy GFY, you need to know techniques to properly apply color to the canvas and those paintings typicly take months and months to create a single work and you only get a decent result if you know the proper techniques. If she was the real deal she would be doing these techniques either instinctively (since she had no time for formal training) or someone else would have needed to teach her.

It's like drawing in an impressioninst style but when you watch the person making the painting he's/she's stroking the brush, you instantly know something is wrong.

With regards to the time it takes to do an oil painting, obviously Kracus has never watched an episode of that guy on PBS with the funny hair painting "happy little bushes" in about one hour.

He creates a fucking masterpiece in the time it takes you to finish a dump. If you know what you're doing and have been doing it for years you tend to do it faster and better than you used to.

Nope, I was wrong he does use oil painting... Howver he doesn't do people, only scenic scenes...

I don't know why oil paintings typicly take so long but I know they normaly do, I'm not sure what bob ross does with his that are so different.

Well actualy I do know why they take so long, it's because oil typicly takes a very long time to dry and it often needs to dry before you can apply different textures... Despite bob ross, oil typicly takes a long time.

yeah, i remember this being posted years ago. can't fault the technique for such a young age, but hopefully her actual themes/concepts/subjects will be a little more inspired as she gets older. She is 13 now and I don't think she has improved much in this respect in the 4 years that have passed, but hey, a lot changes with puberty.

still, she is reaching the point where her age won't matter anymore and she will be competiting with others who will be similarly excellent in technique, even if they didn't gain it at such a young age like her.

though if shes a millionaire already, i don't think she has much reason to worry at night.

Exactly. I was a 9-yr-old girl once. I drew very poor horses, unicorns, ballerinas, flowers and musical doodles. That's it. That's what the average girl, age 9, knows about in America. Except she's thrown in God, tho, so I guessed her parents fucked her up more than mine fucked me up! :olo:
