The T-Mobile MDA Compact IV, otherwise known as the HTC Diamond. I currently have the MDA Compact III. Upgrade due in november, hopefully I'll get a good price. This seems to compete with the iphone, has 3G, wifi, 4GB internal storage but no external storage card, stylus, WM6, etc. I can transfer my tomtom to it. Does everything mine already does and more and it looks really shiny.

Yep, definitely. I have a lot of respect for HTC. My current phone is the HTC Artemis, and I think the quality and design is excellent.

800 x 480 screen (dunno how that's hd... it's certainly higher definition than usual, but HD is a bit of a miss-sell really)
12mm thick, iPhone is 12.3mm... so on par.

I still think the iPhone has the advantage over every phone on the market. Its applications and application market wipe the floor with everything else out there.

Work colleague bizarrely just offered to swap his 6300 for my ipaq 514.
Fucking twighlight zone. I can't stand my phone, complete POS... But if he likes it.. WIN-WIN.

ugh. it might be a sexy phone, but it's $2400 over three years or so. and that's the cheapest plan rogers offers.

"T-Mobile USA said Tuesday that it would unveil the much-anticipated mobile phone loaded with Google Inc.'s Android software next Tuesday at a news conference in New York. The G1 phone, which is being manufactured by HTC, won't be for sale until October. But expect T-Mobile to finally divulge some key details such as pricing."
Price reported to be $199. Launch date 9/23.

Same, Minus the hacking to take 6.1
Love my touch, but it can be a slow bugger at times. Think the newest rom update i tossed on it is bloated. Oh well.

I prefer my standard touch to the iphone. So id guess id like it the new one better as well.
I just dont like the iphone in general tho. I personally like all the windows mobile support for 3rd party apps. *shrug*
