PDF Program to convert a scanned text page to editable text?

Post by KingManULTRA »

I have this text PDF file, however I can neither edit nor highlight text because the program does not recognize text as such. Similarly, I can not highlight text from scanned book pages. Is there a conversion program to convert the picture of text to actual text?

i'm 100% sure there are Twain based app's that will do that... they are usually bundeled with a scanner.. so you may need to print the page then scan it to get the desired test you are looking for..

i would tell you more if i knew anything more, i havnt had a scanner in atleast... well... 7 years?

Yes, Optical Character Recognition. Most scanners come with an OCR software bundled with it.
