Who are you blaming again?? You signed the papers. It's not hard to predict he's going to see combat in Iraq or Afghanistan/Pakistan either you dumber than kracus, puto, pendecho, chinga tu madre.
Jesus christ Peenyuh, what did you do? How are you gonna live with yourself if he comes back minus one leg? I realize he's 17 so if he wants this you could have only delayed him for so long, but didn't you educate him as to what kind of machine he will be becoming a part of and why they're doing what they're doing in those sandy but strangely oil rich foreign countries and how it will in all likelihood mess him up?
Well now. It took you guys long enouogh. That was last week I got all tanked up and went on a rant-page.
@PuFF: Though the government says you cannot ake this decision until you are 18 years of age, the marker which defines when a person actually becomes an adult is a bit fuzzier. My son is a man in every aspect of his life except age. He will be 18 in December. He had already decided to do this thing, so my signature served as nothing more than an affirmation of support for my son. Worst father ever? No. That is just not so.
@DM: Ignorance is not stupidity. If you knew a bit more than you do about this particular situation, you might feel differently. Since I know, for a fact, that you are NOT stupid, I'll simply thank you for expressing your valued opinion.
@Ryoki: Yes sir. I have always shown my children the good AND the bad sides of everything they may deal with. I have taught them to keep their eyes open. My son and I have discussed every aspect of this decision. From the political to the geographical to the cultural, and right on down to the effect on the personal relationships of the family. Believe me, I tried every way to dissuade him. He knows what he has to lose - on every level - and his reasons are valid to him. How am I gonna live with myself? Same way I always do, my friend. Not very well., and with an eye on redemption.

So what are some possible "good sides" of going to another country and killing people in the name of fascism? If you were more concerned about proper parenting rather than flag-waving hooah, you would've advised him to choose a proper career so he wouldn't become a dirt-farming redneck like his father.

What makes you think that I didn't advise him just as you said? Come ON, Maz. THINK! Do you believe that everyone has the same doors open as you? Do you think that everyone can just jet around the world on a whim? Though all four of my Grandparents are from different countries (Ireland and Mexico) I am an American through and through. That doesn't mean that I don't have doors slammed in my face because I have brown eyes and shaded skin. Also, I grew up very poor and had to beat fools like you into the ground or get beaten into the ground myself. Life is NOT all peaches and cream for some of us. We, my Family, has always lived a bit closer to the bowl. But despite that, all three of my children are caring, loyal, and intelligent people. I really dig how you just put him into your own little slot on the shelf without knowing shit about who he is. I've been putting your attitude down to youth. I may have been mistaken. I begin to think it's something else entirely.
btw, don't breed, okay? Just....don't.

Grow some balls? I've got $1000 dollars says that if you were standing in front of me right now, you'd fall to your knees and beg forgiveness. You'd cry like a bitch too.
You may go and play now, boy.

LMAO frustration has lead you to being an internet tough guy! LOLOL mazda owns you.
Naw. An internet tough guy threatens people. I simply pointed out that he's got some hard words...for being a couple thou miles away. Frustrated? Not at all. Mazda is impotent...probably in more ways than one.
And stop bullying me.
