what's funny is that she went to Atlier, a super goth-ninja steez shop that somebody like her would never shop at. I bet she bought some rick owners bondage boots or something

Gov. Sarah Palin, Todd Palin to give depositions Friday (troopergate)
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/22/ ... index.html

She also calls herself an intellectual and wants to name her 6th child (if she has one) Zamboni (seriously).

"And you have to be up on not only current events, but you have to understand the foundation of the issues that you're working on," Palin said in an interview with People magazine. "You can't just go on what is presented you."

If you do a google imagesearch for Zamboni, the inspiration for the name suddenly becomes clear. :olo:

Funny, I was thinking the flaming zamboni picture was a great representation of her campaign. :olo:

Sometimes these dollars they go to projects having little or nothing to do with the public good. Things like fruit fly research in Paris, France. I kid you not!
She has no concept of ... anything, apparently.

This is beginning to scare me... I still have some degree of hope that the American people do the right thing and elect Obama, but if they don't I fear the world is in for a presidential term that will make George W's idiocy look like child's play... :(

-----------
Hitchens really no likey:

http://www.slate.com/id/2203120/
This is what the Republican Party has done to us this year: It has placed within reach of the Oval Office a woman who is a religious fanatic and a proud, boastful ignoramus. Those who despise science and learning are not anti-elitist. They are morally and intellectually slothful people who are secretly envious of the educated and the cultured. And those who prate of spiritual warfare and demons are not just "people of faith" but theocratic bullies. On Nov. 4, anyone who cares for the Constitution has a clear duty to repudiate this wickedness and stupidity.

My take on that: Once again, the drunken Hitchens catches up.

Yeah, he is pretty much a hopeless alcoholic.... that's the impression i got when i saw him anyway. But he's still a good writer and an even greater orator.

And only an idiot like you would think people in politics are somehow inherently intelligent. Palin has modicum of smarts, sure, but everytime she speaks, the depth of her ignorance becomes apparent. Much like yours.
