internet jargon and so shouldn' t you

Post by seza »

over the years i've UNFORTUNATELY been conscious to the ever increasing use of internet jargon or memes. in fact, i even know all but a spoonful of you mouth breathers make daily use of these things without so much as an afterthought as to how or why you began in the first place. you don't even care. you type the "LOL" with the "ROFLs" and "LMAOs" possibly add a exclamation point or a 'z' for further emphasis at times, yeah? you do this when texting, emailing, posting, and no doubt if ever invented would continue the ridiculousness in real life conversations even. for what purpose do you do this. someone tell me why the use of corny lingo in place of real fucking words is necessary and so commonly used? this is something i have never understood and will always continue to loathe. fuck you and your stupid internet dork jargon, how's that.

the newest ones, to my knowledge, are "EPIC" and "FAIL". these two have pressed me to the limits of my toleration meter. here's just how deep that goes. if a person uses any piece of this absolutely dumb fucking internet e-jargon during a conversation and i just so happen to be there to breathe it, see it, smell it, hear it, taste it even...i will automatically - instinctively - subconsciously - without hesitation - build up the ultimate amount of semantic noise one would be able to acquire and will thereafter do my best to resonate invisible hate waves towards you. for life, nothing you will ever accomplish in my eyes will be good enough. this is how i feel about most of you since i started posting. my superiority complex is limitless in most of your presence, believe it. wow, you're a doctor? oh, but you commonly use "LOL" in place of just saying how you laughed or thought something funny? get off my internet and show up in an obit. section of a newspaper quickly. 6 figure income and give to charity? quite the philanthropist are you, nicely played. fuck off with your use of "EPIC FTW" right into a thunderstorm with nothing but metal over-wear on please.

i'm not laughing and i STRONGLY, STRONGLY dislike YOU.

I understand.
There is always something that some people don't like, while others do.
And you might feel left out becaue mass media and internet secret agents stir it up, successfully resulting in a generation of too many of victim zombies.

Complaining about slang and jargon is the pastime of the elderly or terminally unpopular. Which are you?

since i'm not narcissistic enough to want popularity from the very "people" i despise...i'd have to say i'm to fit in your latter category.

AND NOTICE how i put "quotation marks" around the word "people". that's to show how i barely view them as such

I've just realized that the rant at the top of this thread is directed at me. Way to own yourself.

ah, what kind of fool moved my thread. i was simply generally discussing the disdain i share with all of you.

and geebs, don't take yourself so seriously...i merely grabbed two examples off the top of my head of people who can be seen as highly regarded individuals for their line of work. people still say 'own'? yeah, swing and a hit for me.
