I'm trying to get my girlfriend to watch it with me. I have the full season on my system.

Yeah, the writers or producers or whatever creative heads had a falling out with Fox execs and funding for the show was cut. Serenity was made after it and it was to tie off all the hanging plot lines and bring some closure to the series. Shame. Good show.

Started watching this, and I must admit it's a lot better than I expected.
I find myself chuckling at genuinely witty dialogues that ocassionally remind me of Woody Allen stuff.

The tormented disposition of the main character gets a bit annoying, though.
Quit whining, already, you ain't got it so bad.

But thanks for pointing the series out.

Nah, any good?

I did start watching The Wire, though. Think you recommended it.
Quality all round. I like how they take their time to flesh out the plot, unlike most cop shows where some case needs to be sewn up every episode.
Shame it's all in 4:3 aspect ratio, though. Guess I got kinda spoiled with all the widescreen stuff.
