Game Browser?

Post by cK-r1r »

What's a good game browser these days?

I see ASE isn't around anymore. Gamespy doesn't seem to find very many servers.
I'm looking for something free. I don't play very often these days it's not worth spending money on software.

The sticky thread (second thread from the top) should provide some insight.

Yahoo discontinued ASE in May of this year. If I'm not mistaken, they took the trackers offline as well so you'll only see servers that were already in your cache.

QTracker/MaxBrowse are both good.

Ah, so there might be more servers around than I thought. Will have to check out maxbrowse and qtracker. There's a couple of popular european FFA servers I use through ASE which are always almost full and take up to 20 players. Be interesting to see if there are a few others like that with good ping.
