Ok, it's me named as Posh Spice. This is a demo that I didn't realise was auto recording the other night. Now I never play TDM but this guy called Relax (very good player) was nagging us to change from FFA to TDM. so we said 'oh alright then'. You'll see that apart from a few times I stick with him, I'm basically still in FFA mode, which ain't too clever. Now considering I've only just come back to Q3 after a year, I think I did ok, hehe. My movement picks up speed towards the last few minutes of the game, I move slower and more cautiously earlier. I'm particularly pleased with a rail I get at about 16 mins.15 secs.

Downloading your demo now. I didn't think there were any servers left running, might have to try it again myself. I found some more, these really ARE the last games I played before I sold my PC. Started playing Q3 LAN with friends around 2002, but they sucked. Got broadband 2003 and played online for eight months, then I gave up computer games for a few years, until I wrecked my arm mid 2005. The physiotherapist told me to quit work and exercise my arm very lightly, like squeezing an orange for ten minutes a day. Yeah right. I bought a PC with a widescreen monitor and a razer viper and played Q3 all afternoon for six months with two pillows under my arm! When I could go back to work, I sold the PC but found these demos on my quake compilation DVD. That PC was amazing for quake. 19" widescreen! Q3 in glorious 1440x900x32! Anyways they are funny games. In the duels I actually win one against Ermac (--suez--) who normally beat me 99 games out of 100 but he was tired and I'd just woke up. Luck played some part as well...

Hope you enjoy em. And yeah people I already know I'm a stupid tactician and generally crap at the game. I have demos of C58*Jibo, Boodah, Mist etc... so I don't need the negative comments. Just enjoy it!

I like FileFront for uploading demos and other stuff like that.

Oh yeah, pp1v1 = PurePwnage 1v1, online tournament that lasted this August - September. vicarious vs. gillz is the grand final which I won Maps are ZTN and Pro-NODM9 I think. So I'd recommend that you watch that one they're CPMA VQ3 demos btw.

How do I watch CPMA VQ3 demos? What mod do I need to download and install? I use DSC light 1.30 to watch demos, but only have OSP install on this machine. I generally hate playing CPMA quake 3, so I never install it.

Everyone is so good Iris, I just started watching your DM6 match against ermac but had to stop because food was cooking. Will watch the rest of it later. Nice movement and I can tell you would pwn me. I know ermac, he used to come on an FFA server fairly regularly about a year ago. Excellent player.

It's the CPMA mod (version 1.46), but the gameplay is the same as in Baseq3 and OSP. CPMA with VQ3 gameplay has basically replaced OSP for competition since 2006 due to the CPL using it in their last Q3 tournament. So you have to install the mod to watch the demos, sorry
