if you can deal with the weight and power consumption IMO the picture is much nicer than LCDs in that price range.

Me. Well I did the sums back some 6 years and plasma is still the wtg IMHO

Well ty for the info. I went with a 65 inch dlp made by mitsubishi it wil be here tommorrow. I decided on DLP since i wanted to get the biggest tv i could afford. I love the color on plasma but after watching the diffrent tv's I figured I'd be happy with the dlp.

another pus for lcd is they seem to handle direct sun and window glare very very well
