You obviously lack an appreciation for the risks they take every day.

Even if that girl didn't do anything wrong she shouldn't have resisted arrest. If you don't submit to the police like you're supposed to, you deserve what you get. I would fully support them if they had shot her in the back for trying to escape. If she didn't want trouble, she should have just gone with them peacefully, without asking them why she was being arrested. There's plenty of time to find out details like that in court, after you've spent some time in a jail cell.

the needle on my sarcasmometer seems to be jammed at the top of the scale.

btw, nanny state news from this side of the pond:
Teachers in England will have to act as "role models" both in and out of school under a proposed new code of conduct.

meanwhile, in other news: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8004222.stm
A police officer has been interviewed under caution for manslaughter after a new post-mortem overturned the cause of Ian Tomlinson's death.

The newspaper-seller was struck and pushed over by a police officer during G20 protests on 1 April in the City.

Now a fresh examination has found he died of abdominal haemorrhage, not a heart attack, as originally thought.

It's a field goal!!!

Cop kicks suspect in the face after suspect surrenders

...then after pounding the guy in the kidneys while handcuffing him the mouth breathers give each other high fives.

lol?

The funniest part for me was right at the beginning when a bystander tries to get into a HEAD ON COLLISION with the suspect. Everyone's a fucking hero. :olo:

I like at the end of the video the guy says "what it needs is a system of checks and balances" LOL GLAD THAT WAS THOUGHT OF NOW...also this is the same thing the founding fathers thought to themselves when writing the constitution so yeah, expect the patriot act to just be the new constitution from here on out.

lol yep. they build in safeguards in order to avoid the negative consequences of dismantling the safeguards, and then end up using the laws for purposes other than originally designed
