It's not like 3D architectural rendering is all that intensive. The Quadro line of cards share a very similar architecture to the high end gaming cards.

Maybe later. This is where modular PSUs come in really handy.

So there's a problem with the mobo. His rear audio port for the L/R stereo doesn't work anymore. I plugged in the speakers on the front and the sound is fine. Apparently this just happened out of nowhere today, I was at work all day.

So am I looking at an RMA for the mobo?

one would assume you've tried different software and etc? and tried disabling that Hot plug BS that's in the drivers as wel.

Disregard that, reinstalling his onboard audio drivers fixed it.
