Trouble going online/installing.

Alright so I tried to install Quake 3 and it gives me an error about the "Check for Quake 3 Arena Updates" files. I have downloaded the 1.32 update and installed it but, I still can't install the game. Also, I can just click on the game icon and it works but, I can't install it. When I do it this way it doesn't find any multiplayer servers. Please help.

You don't have to use the install wizard to get the game working. Just take the files off of the cd and move them into a folder, and you'll have it working.

On the online question, this forum is littered with that same question.

I just got DSL...and i tried to play online and my interface is "3". Where do I download a patch or update that can get me to interface "6"?
