I got accused of cheating

Lol, well that's a first for me! I was playing a few rounds of FFA tonight and as I got warmed up I started hitting some great rails and ended up 2nd or 3rd a few times. Never actually won a game tonight though because the best player who ever comes to that server was on and is way too good. It's the highest I've ever come on the scoreboard when he's playing. Then he left, dm17 started and I wasn't playing well mostly due to getting bored and having no more inspiration, so I started pissing around, like gauntleting, and camping on the highest teleport platform spamming rockets down

So this player was speccing me and started accusing me of cheating. He was like "how come you're not fragging now? Turned your aimbot off because you know I'm speccing you?" And stuff like that. Cut a long story short, he came back later with a nickname of 'PoshBot' (because my nick is either posh spice or scary spice) and kept saying "stop cheating!" to which I laughed. Next thing I know, he's controlling my movement like I was his puppet. He did it to another player who he accused of cheating too. He said he was connected to our aimbots, that's how he was doing it and that proves we cheat. But he'd obviously hacked the server. He also managed to stop players reading my text to him unless they were speccing. I emailed the admin with this in the hope he may get banned.
He was... a complete idiot.

Damn..never heard of that before. I suppose the game has existed for long enough now, that plenty of people have hacked the hell out of the game to that point..strange. The good majority of the times that I've played, I've been accused of being a bot by someone through out the night. I've always seen it as a person that can't handle being beat so they point the blame..especially when there are other people in the server.
Even if a person is a bot, they're still beatable if you can beat the in-game bots. A bot is a bot. What would someone do if you were a Cpma 100 bot? Ouch! I don't think anyone can hack that bot..well, hopefully.

Yeh it was weird, when I tried to move I felt myself being held in position or being pushed backwards. I felt... victimised and soiled

Do you remember TN_1 who used to play on your server? As well as 'stfu ax' and 'stfu drum' it was also 'stfu TN!' I've been chatting with him on msn ever since.

sounds like it might be time to graduate off the ffa servers
sad to think there are still people out there who think 40-50% rail (in a ffa, no less) is bot-like.
