Saw a guy get knocked out when one of the racks came down. You know, fork lifts can't protect you from the sides. The cage is meant to protect you from boxes or pallets falling off racks. Not, necessarily, from the collapse of whole structures. Especially adjustable open shelving. Keep in mind, I wouldn't have tried to jam that load through the narrow space that was available - but in that instance, I woulda been out on the back dock before the first beam hit the floor. There were several issues that should have been addressed in that shop. If they'd had a visit from OSHA (with a rep who was paying attn) this may not have happened. Also, that's what you get fer lettin LawL on the forklift. Dumb asses belong in assembly with the women.
