Weirdly, I've just watched an advert for Resistance 2 on prime time TV.

Playing it atm. The 2nd level was a bit meh, but once you get outside in San Francisco it just gets epic. Can't stop playing now :)

I wasn't expecting much tbh. But the level design is varied, the action is hot, sometimes you get scared bejezed. Every level has something epic happening.

Get it.

Got it today, and while the demo didn't lag, this does. Badly. Strange thing is, the movement is fine. But trying to aim is impossible as it lags too much.

Not to mention the PS3 controller is a POS for FPS games...

Are they still trying to tell us its "our TV's" to blame for this lag and not the game...? As it stands, I don't know how much of this game I can play :(

EDIT: I Agree about the controls too. Its like they said "Right, this is what everybody else does. Lets do it different" just for the hell of it. Not one control scheme is ok, with any options set. Theres always a catch... Shame they didn't just let us map the damn controller ourselves :(

My new TV (did i brag about my new TV yet?) has 0.0001ms pixel response and =< 13ms from PS3 to display and it still lags.
The control in Resistance 2 is great for the PS3 pad.

They better sort this shit out or KZ2 can get fucked.

Yeah its not my TV. Fair enough its a decent Sammy, not the greatest and best thing ever, but this is the first game to do so. The XMB doesnt lag at all, and no other games regardless of console do.

Shame... This is really driving my balls as its making the game quite hard to play. That, and the waaaaay over done motion blur make this hurt my head :(

Why is a game that is flawed in such a crucial way get such high ratings? And I agree with controls. With all the playtesting that goes on before a game is released, how do control schemes like these get slapped on to the final game?

Its called hype. Some people buy into it more than others.

Halo 3 was the same. The only difference was Halo 3, like it or hate it, actually did a LOT of new things... How people are scoring KZ2 a 10 on originality I've never know, its about as basic as Quake 4...

EDIT: Oh and as for controls, the devs have sworn black and blue its our fault, even going as far as to say that its our TV's to blame and that we should lower settings and turn off certain features from our TV's... Really shows they have no clue eh?

It doesn't matter what the devs say. if 70% of the people complain about the poor control they'll be forced to make amendments. Only a moron would make a statement like "Really shows they have no clue eh?".

we'll see. also yes, you can be. you also demonstrate you know nothing about the world of CRM which conflicts with your claims on working at a high level in the games industry.

Well seeing as I don't work for GG or an involved with them at all, I can't see how i would know anything other than what they have said in public, which was... "There isn't a fix coming because there isnt a problem".

But nice try.
