teh PR guy from Criterion also said they would never implement a restart function into Burnout.
the devs however, did implement it in the latest update.

PR/CRs dont always know what's coming, or simlpy dont tell whats coming.

Doombrain you and t'edium should get married and have a supercunt baby. Only after marriage though, doing so out of wedlock would be an abomination unto the lord.

o'didum just can't admit he might be wrong on something, especially when he has the games industry eating from his hands.

Damn, this isn't just a blow to KZ2, but to the PS3 as a whole. They were really needing a big game to do well and now it looks like KZ2 just isn't going to cut it. 360 is kickin ass...

i use alternate 2 control scheme. its the closest to cod's. and yeah the controls are a bit sluggish, you move the stick and the crosshair doesn't start moving till .5 seconds later.

The game looks as good as anything I've seen on almost any system or any computer.

The controls make the game almost unplayable. If you had never played an FPS before and had nothing to compare the controls to the laggy shit controls might not be as big of a deal.

Is it even possible for a patch to be applied to the control scheme via a download?I

After a couple hours I've gotten use to the controls. They aren't the greatest..but it isn't a game spoiler.

Yea, I agree that the game is definitely worth playing through at least once just because its so damn impressive, but it feels a bit more like I am fumbling my way through the levels as opposed to skillfully picking off people left and right or pulling off tough headshots at critical times.

On the technical side of things, does anyone know if this game do anything graphically that the 360 can't?

Nothing at all. Its just deferred lighting which is possible on any DX9 level GPU. Of course rabbid Sony fanboys will cry nothing like this is possible on any other machine, even PC lol.

As for the graphics being best yet, have you not played Crysis at Max with a good res then? Because Killzone 2, in a few spots, is bloody last gen looking.

Still, its got an awesome design, and its all over it. It never really takes a break from what it wants to do like some games, which is really nice.

But the controls are a deal breaker. You don't get used to the lag, and if you do, you just fucking suck at gaming then so its no loss.

Yea, the word almost was specifically put into my statement because of Crysis. My machine handles it pretty well and I used the config hack to unlock a few of the 'dx10' features in the game's graphics. That game was amazing looking.

Also, I don't think you have to get used to the lag to adapt to the controls and at least make your way through the game. I am always aware of the buggy controls, trying to snipe someone is a joke of sorts, but I am adapting a bit to the point where I can move a lot more efficiently after finishing the first few missions.

Saying that any part of the game looks "last gen looking" is pretty ridiculous.

Jackal, there are a few spots that borderline PS2 quality. Not the whole game mind, most of it looks great.

But ATM I couldn't give two shits how it looks. I'm sniping people using a laggy sixaxis "waggle" motion instead of using the damn sticks... Thats a flaw.

I haven't seen those last gen parts. Looks like most of the textures are good...unlike Resistance (at least the first one).

I didn't know that the sixaxis functions were used for anything but turning valves...do they get used later on in the game?

sniper rilfe is much more responsive then the other guns. also, while zoomed in you need to hold the controller steady. tilting it causes you to drift.

Shaft, the simple fact you said I must suck at games and THATS why the game lags shows you are clueless...
