Stats are back apart from a couple of smaller details.

'Status Update SITE NEWS | Mar 5, 2009 | marty'

"Things have been progressing very well and we continue to be thrilled with the new users coming to the site every day as well as the number of current players that visit QUAKE LIVE regularly. The update we made earlier this week greatly increased our user capacity and allowed us to remove the queue for the time being, so we hope everyone has enjoyed the more immediate access.

We took the site down for about an hour today to implement changes that allow us to now re-enable most statistics reporting. The one element of stats that we are not re-enabling immediately is the specific data tied to each individual frag (i.e. what weapon was used, what items you were carrying, who you fragged, etc.). We do however intend to re-enable these frag specific stats very soon after evaluating back-end performance. The only side effects of this specific set of stats being disabled is that you won't see weapon specific frag counts in your statistics page or in the individual game details views, and we've temporarily hidden about 25 of our more than 80 awards - these 25 relate specifically to individual frag statistics. If you had earned an award (prior to us disabling stats) that is now hidden, when we start reporting those stats again, your award will re-appear and you won't need to re-earn it.

Other than the specific temporarily omitted reports mentioned above, everything related to stats should now be functioning - including match history, score summary and details views, recent competitors, most awards, etc.

As part of the changes we've made to the stats reporting system, you may find that during periods of very high user loads, game statistics don't appear in your profile as immediately as they might during off-peak playing hours. Even if your game or stats don't update immediately, they are being stored for processing as fast as the system can handle them, without interrupting the core services of the site (site access, game management and display, etc.). Basically, during times of the highest user loads, we are going to try putting your stats in a queue as opposed to putting you in a queue. :)

One final note related to this update, if you are the type of person that wants to know exactly what's going on with QUAKE LIVE the minute that something new is happening, we'd highly suggest following us on Twitter. We have over 10,000 people already following us and we really like how it let's us communicate updates to everyone very quickly and efficiently. We'll continue to use it to feed the latest and greatest related to QUAKE LIVE.

Thanks again to everyone for playing. We're having fun and hope you are too.

The QUAKE LIVE Team "
