I forgot about this thread.............Doombrain wrote:This one's slightly better.
DB ,......... That sir is a good example of Tilt Shift. Fuckin good job with that photo sir.
That is a fine example of how it is supposed to look. Whatever your flow was to get it, keep it. I'm impressed, as I recall the previous normal shot which was so so.
So I'm still in macro world and took a shot that I could share, cliche, but if you want to know how small that print is, look at any new board of ram you have laying about.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Okay, that pic by ForM is A1. I like it very much.

This guy had an odd growth on his head...

And here is a mallard duck (vignette is there because I wanted to see how it looked...)

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
WAY better than that first attempt you posted. that one kind of sucked. this is good.
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Thanks...and of course it sucked, it was handheld. long exposures don't go so well that way.
I liked this one because there is a lot of small detail in the water, all sorts of small things altering the flows.

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
The blues in the sky and the rest of the colors and sharpness in those pictures are fantastic. Is that a point and shoot or an slr you are using?
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
I guess I haven't posted photos in a while. I take my pictures with my Nikon D50 DSLR, 6 MP. Bought it somewhere begin 2006. Shooting mostly in RAW and tweaking the photos a bit with Lightroom 2.x.
The lens I've used for these photos is the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8, which is tack sharp and twice as cheap as the Nikon and Canon counterparts.

nice, that looks quite awesome!
Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Went north to just below the canadian border this weekend looking for bald eagles. Here are a few of the shots (sharpness on some isn't what I had hoped but I was a long ways away from a few).

Re: PHOTOS PLEASE
Nice pics tnf! The lack of sharpness is what I'd expect from that lens, its not your fault.
