Ok then, I'll upload a simple lick for you that I played, and you record your own version of it or better, is that a deal? You'll have to work out what I'm actually playing first, rofl.

You can't though, that's why you uploaded a soundbite of another drummer claiming it was you until I exposed your lies, lmao. PWNED.

I could play blast beats if I cared about them, it would just take a few hours of practise. I have no interest in blast beats because the styles of music I play don't require them. They require different, more interesting, more complex chops. Something you wouldn't understand since your knowledge of and ability on drums is akin to a retarded 4 year old.

Geoff trolled the shit out of Drum. This whole thread smacks of Drumb being defensive.

CaseDogg wrote:i agree with scared?. most guys that can play as fast and accurately as these dude have been playing swing and other forms of stuff for a long time and have really just sped it up, kept the technicality and took it to a new level.
I don't agree with this. There are shitloads of guitar players who play crazy fast but when it comes to playing muscially interesting things, they're huge letdowns.
Usually the thing quite the contrary to what you say, Case. Musicians start out trying to play everything very fast because it's "cool". It does help developing speed and accuracy though. Many of them will get bored of the shredding or blast beating or whatever soon enough and they start looking for more complex musical things to do. Being fast doesn't mean you're capable of doing technically complex things. To me, technicality is the next level once you've passed the level marked "speed".

wow - never known such bitching and e-penis swaying... back when i was in death metal bands we'd simply compare styles, see how we got our kicks as fast as Kollias from Nile and compared techniques... there are more drummers out there than inside this thread, so you may as well be constructive rather than childish... oh wait, Q3W :D
