street fighter's great on the ps3. it loads faster on the xbox and looks identical, but the controller handles like a shopping trolley

I don't recall you liking SF2 much. Also if you have CoD4 do you really want to spend out on a mod for it?
By the way, have you played Fallout 3? I've recently had pangs to play something with a little more depth than aim and shoot, even as far as to fail at running FFVII in an emulator, eventually turning to getting a fair bit into FF4 on a SNES rom for the sake of there being a story (which so far btw, is rather good). Then I picked up Fallout 3 and i'm not long out of the bunker after robbing everybody blind and beating some nerdy bird's totalitarian dad to death with a baseball bat (she wasn't best pleased) and although I did eventually end up outside pointing and shooting I did find the combat quite enjoyable, although functional at best thus far with the real time shootery, the optional VATS system however allowing you to not so much slow time Baywatch style to watch Nicole Eggert's tits bounce as to line up your gun with pool-shot precision and shoot them right off. And even if you fuck that up you can just hose them down like so much name an FPS of your choice. I'm barely 2 hours in though so I won't get too sentimental with it. By the by this is here because I can't be fucked to find the Fallout 3 thread and now you reminded me to remind myself i've been jonesing to rave about it since it kept me up 'till 3am this morning strutting around an urban wasteland in the stolen clothes of my vanquished foes.

As it turns out, Fallout 3 does nothing for me. FFVII on the other hand does and I have been playing through it quite a lot. I have been doing a bit of leveling up here and there and just wandering around and I can conclude that this is the best game I have ever played. Every bit of it is perfection - there is nothing I would change. Aces.

As for the new game you are correct, I didn't like SF2 very much but I am guessing this is because I just didn't know how to play it. Hence thinking of getting that. CoD games I love in general so this would be a no brainer really, especially as it has Nazi Zombies (WINNAR!) which can never be a bad thing.

No doubt I shall go in to Game tomorrow with a few bits to trade in and end up with something completely different...

neither. if you like sf2 or fighting games in general then go for that. if you lean more towards fps games then go for cod. cod just got the new expansions, which is free on all platfroms? so that might be the better choice.

honestly i'd something pick compeletely different. save your money. buy 2 even older games you missed out on. or get some xbla/psn games that will hold your attention just as well. cod:waw is nothing more than a fancy facelift to cod4 so you'd be better off waiting a few months until the new cod game comes out from infinity ward.

btw...have you played the penny arcade rpgs? if you have a steam account at least download the demos. they're great fun and would be well worth the money otherwise spent on cod or sf.
