I wonder what comes after twitter. Perhaps some program that lets you post what smaller things you're doing in real life in between the slightly bigger things you're doing in real life in between posting emails and blogs. Such as, breathing.

" I am now breathing".

" Me too"

" I coughed"

"No shit? Me too"

It would be like.. totally fascinating.

Twitter is a masterbatory outlet for people who think others care what they do/think/eat/fart/say. It's a good thing. Keep all the wankers in one place, save the rest of the intardnet for everyone else.

Have just recently started delving into the social networking revolution. I am still really exploring whether the functionality is more geared toward resume-building or more personal randonmess, such as quickly finding a rating on a new sushi bar in a different town.
At this point, can't say it's useful to anyone I know personally, but most of the VC execs i blog-follow are also huge twitter fans.

Code: Select all

var visitedString = GM_getValue("visitedString", "");
var visitedLinks = visitedString.split(",");

var links = document.evaluate("//.[@id='timeline']//a[contains(@href, 'the url you are looking for goes here')]", document, null, XPathResult.ORDERED_NODE_ITERATOR_TYPE, null);
while (link = links.iterateNext()) {
	var href = link.href;
	// check to see if we've already automatically visited that URL
	var alreadyVisited = false;
